SSI Diving Specialist Diver
Choose any two SSI specialties of interest.
If you are an OWD certified diver, or a new diver who has just obtained the OWD qualification, no matter which diving system you are in, you can take the SSI Dive Specialty course, choose any two specialties (except for Pressure and Rescue Course, Corrective Responder, Search and Recovery, Deep Dive and Partial Specialty), and after obtaining any two SSI Dive Specialties, after you have reached the dive experience value of 12 dives record The SSI Dive System will automatically issue the Dive Specialist award certificate after you have earned any two SSI Dive Specialists and have logged 12 dives.
SSI Dive Specialty offers Dive Knowledge Specialty, Pool/Calm Water Specialty, and Open Water Specialty. Divers learn according to their own preferred and interested specialties to broaden their diving experience and orientation.
Boat Diving
The ocean is full of dive sites, but many of them are not accessible from the coast. This course teaches you the skills and knowledge you need to dive safely from a boat and get the most out of your diving opportunities. Upon completion, you will be certified as an SSI Boat Diver Specialist.
Certification: Completion of the concentration credit and subject test.
Course Duration:5~10 hours
Deep Diving
Many exciting dives are located in deeper waters. Without proper training, these dives can be risky for you. The SSI Deep Dive Specialist will provide you with the ability to safely and comfortably plan and conduct dives to depths greater than 18 meters, which is a prerequisite for some advanced training. Upon completion, you will be certified as an SSI Deep Dive Specialist.
Certification: Completion of the concentration credit and subject test.
Course Duration:10~15 hours
Underwater Navigation
This course provides the skills and knowledge needed to navigate safely and comfortably underwater during a dive. You will learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimating distances, basic navigation patterns, and how to get to and from designated points to add confidence and safety to your dive. Upon completion of this course, you will be certified as an SSI Water Navigation Specialist.
Certification: Completion of the concentration credit and subject test.

Night Diving and Low Visibility Diving
This course provides the skills and knowledge needed to dive safely and comfortably at night or in low visibility conditions. The ocean's creatures only come out at night, so your dive doesn't have to end when the sun down. You'll learn how to get in and out of the water, use specialized equipment, and how to communicate with your dive buddy and perform dives at night or in low visibility. You will be certified as an SSI Night Diver and Low Visibility Specialist.
Certification: Completion of the concentration credit and subject test.

Waves, Tides and Currents
As you know that water movement can have a huge impact on your diving experience, this course provides you with the skills and knowledge you need to dive from the shore, in tidal currents and in different types of waves, and has been designed to provide you with the ability to perform safer dives. Upon completion of this course, students will receive the SSI Wave, Tide and Current Specialty Certification.

Wreck Diving
Some of the best places to dive in the ocean are artificial reefs, or sunken wrecks. course provides the skills and knowledge you need to safely scuba dive around these treasures. Upon completion, you will receive your SSI Wreck Diver Specialty certification.

Perfect buoyancy
You want to increase buoyancy control? Minimize your respiratory gas consumption? Or move easily above the sea floor? The SSI Perfect Buoyancy course teaches you how to maximize your diving experience, improve your comfort in the water, and develop the skills and knowledge you need to maximize the potential of your equipment. Upon completion, you will be certified as an SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialist.
Certification: Completion of the concentration credit and subject test.

Underwater Photography and Video
The SSI Photos and Video program teaches you the skills need to dive with an underwater camera, Providing the knowledge and experience needed to properly use, maintain and store your equipment.You will be certified as an SSI Underwater Photography and Video Specialist.

Course Duration:5~10 hours
Computer Watch Diving
Once you have obtained your OWD license, are you already diving with your dive computer watch? If you would like to learn more about how to use your dive computer watch and become certified, the SSI Dive Computer Watch Specialist provides in-depth and detailed information on the safe use of dive computer watches. Upon completion, you will be certified as an SSI Dive Master.
Certification: Completion of the concentration credit and subject test.

ENRICHED AIR NITROX
The SSI Nitrox Diving course will teach you how to safely plan and dive with nitrox mixtures EAN up to 40% oxygen. This is a course you will definitely need for your diving career. Compared to normal air diving, Enriched Air can increase your no-decompression limit, increase your safety, and reduce the amount of surface rest time required. You can use different oxygen levels for different dive purposes, so that you can add more dive styles to your dive. Upon completion, you will be SSI Enriched Oxygen 32% certified.

Equipment Maintenance
The SSI Equipment Fundamentals Maintenance Course will show you how to select, maintain and store your Total Diving System. This ensures performance and extends the life of your equipment. Upon completion, you will be certified as an SSI Equipment Fundamentals Maintenance Specialist.

Altitude Diving
The SSI Altitude Diving course provides students with the basic knowledge and skills needed to safely dive at altitudes above 300 meters.
There are many alpine lakes and most of them have high visibility. What do you need to know in order to dive safely? The answer is the SSI Alpine Diving specialty. Is your next adventure somewhere you've never been before or are you just looking to expand your options ahead of time? If you're diving into water that's between 1,000 and 10,000 feet above sea level, it's called “altitude diving. Most algorithms are designed to plan dives up to 1,000 feet deep.
Upon completion, you will be certified as a SSI Diver's Watch Specialist.

The Dive Specialist Specialty Program is a choice of two independent specialties of your own interest (except for specialties that need to be taken individually).
- Choose any two specialized courses of study, with the exception of Stress and Rescue and Search and Recovery.
- Advanced Expeditionary Diver AA qualification, one credit for specialization.
- Easily complete the course, after completing the course and reaching the standard of diving experience, you will receive three certificates (including one bonus card).
- Each specialty requires two credits and two training dives each.
- As long as you are qualified as an Open Water Diver, you can sign up.
- Two specialized marine internships and subject tests are required for a visa.
- Easily complete the course with two days off per week.

Schedule
- All courses take 1-2 days to complete
- The first day consists of an independent specialty review and 1-2 dives in open water marine practice (depending on the specialty chosen). Shore or boat dives may be conducted.
- The second day is an independent specialty refresher and 1-2 dives in open water marine practice (depending on the specialty chosen), either shore diving or boat diving.
Diving Specialist General Standards for Specialty Courses
Specialty courses may be combined as long as all knowledge development for the applicable course, pool/calm water and open water training requirements have been completed.
If combining the Specialty course with the Open Water Diver course, the student must be certified as an Open Water Diver prior to the issuance of any SSI Specialty certification.
Safe diving practices must be adhered to at all times and the SSI training standards for each specialty program must be met when combining specialty programs.
If two (2) specialty courses are combined, a minimum of three (3) open water training dives will be required.
If combined with three (3) specialty courses, a minimum of four (4) open water training dives will be required.
If the four (4) specialty courses are combined, a minimum of five (5) open water training dives will be required.
Notes:
- The SSI Dive Specialist Specialty Package includes a minimum of 3 training dives.
- You can complete the course in as little as 1 day. If you decide to take a 2-day weekly vacation, that's not a problem at all, just allow yourself to do 1-2 more dives after completing the course. You will love this Dive Master Dive Package!
- This course does not include all necessary diving equipment, if you bring your own equipment, no refund for the difference in price.
