BEGINNER DIVING LICENSE
Open Water Diver Course
3 days and 2 nights (small class size)
- Small class sizes, no more than four students per class.
- It is recommended to arrive at the Dive Center the night before.
- Register early for the time of your choice.
- Special price NT$12,000 per person.(Non-individual class, at least two or more people to start the class, if there is no other students together at the time of registration, then the class will start with a dedicated instructor 1 VS 1).
- You can also choose the accommodation plan (2 berths, 3 meals) and stay with a standard double bed for only NT$2,500.If you need to check in early the night before, you only need to charge NT$800/person for the diver's special rate.
4 days and 3 nights (small class size)
- Classes are held every day, so call your friends to enroll and enjoy the discount.

- You can also choose the accommodation plan (3 berths, 4 meals) and stay with a standard double bed for only NT$3,000.If you need to check in early the night before, you only need to charge NT$800/person for the diver's special rate.
Specialized Instructor 1vs1 (3day or 4day)
- Specialized Instructor, 1VS1 teaching.
- It is recommended to arrive at the Dive Center the night before.
- 3 Days 2 Nights Shift - Special Price NT$13,000.(Not group class)
- 4 Days 3 Nights Shift - Offer price NT$15,000.
- You can also choose the accommodation plan (2 berths for 3 meals or 3 berths for 4 meals) and stay with a standard double bed for only RMB 2,500 per person (2 berths for 3 meals) or RMB 3,000 (3 berths for 4 meals).
- If you need to check in earlier the night before, you only need to add the diver's special rate NT$800/person.
Deluxe Diving Class OWD 3 Days 2 Nights Class

Course Standards
- Suggested hours for the course: 16 - 32 hours
- The SSI Open Water Diver course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and training necessary to dive autonomously with dive partners of equal or greater qualification in environments equivalent to their training and at depths shallower than 18 meters.
- Complete all knowledge development sections and assessments outlined in the Open Water Diver Instructor's Manual.
- Completion of the Open Water Diver final exam with a passing score of 80%.
- Complete the skills assessment outlined in all pool/calm water units and the Open Water Diver Instructor's Manual.
- Complete a waterborne assessment as outlined in the SSI Training Standards. A waterborne assessment must be completed prior to participating in any open water training dive.
- Complete a minimum of four (4) open water scuba training dives.
Pre-study Information
- SSI Open Water Diver Course This globally accepted scuba certification course is the best way to begin your lifelong adventure as a certified diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water exercise modules to ensure you have the skills and experience you need to feel comfortable underwater. You will receive SSI Open Water Diver Diving License.
- This is the first license that you must obtain to enter the world of scuba diving, after obtaining this diving license, you can dive all over the world. We recommend that you accumulate your diving experience to the level of Advanced Diver or above, and you will be able to enjoy diving freely and fully.
- If you are over 10 years old and in good health, please refer to SSI's Health Statement and Liability Release and Risk Assumption Agreement, if you have any physical condition, you must obtain a doctor's approval and issue a certificate before taking diving courses.
- Cadets younger than 15 years of age will be certified as Junior Open Water Divers and will be able to dive under the direct supervision of a Dive Professional, or a certified adult, in an environment equal to their training and recommended depth limits.
- Before the official start of class, you can complete home study through SSI online learning digital teaching materials. For diving courses, you must bring your own swimming trunks or swimsuits, and prepare digital photos of yourself (life photos can also have front-facing photos, which are provided for upload).
- All students must complete it before class SSI Digital Textbook Study and must be watched before class Risk Awareness Video.
- Students can proceed online before class Sign the relevant documents and complete the online final exam.
Please use the reservation system for diving courses. The class time and class scheduled by the student will depend on the class. If there are other students taking classes during that period, they will be processed according to the registered class. If there is only one student, it will be handled as a 1VS1 course with a dedicated coach.
Fee description
- The OW certification course fee includes the use of a full set of diving equipment, gas cylinder fees, visa fees, travel accident insurance and training and teaching fees.
- The fee does not include food, lodging and transportation to the center during the training period.
- Matching Accommodation Plan to stay in Atoll Dive BnB with Diver Privilege (single occupancy with standard double bed can be arranged)。
- The dive center is located in Hengchun Old Town, where you can enjoy Hengchun's local cuisine for breakfast and dinner.
- Please pay the remaining balance of the course fee when you sign up, and inform Reef in advance if you have special needs. Small class teaching, high efficiency, except for special needs or weather and sea conditions, calm water courses and marine internships are implemented in the sea area of Houbi Lake in Kenting (technical examination).
Note
- Changes to the scheduled class date must be informed 7 days in advance. If there is a change within 7 days or an unexcused absence from class, excluding force majeure (natural disasters/accidents), an additional NTD$3,000 will be borne. If you miss class due to physical discomfort, you need to present the hospital registration receipt to be exempted from the additional burden.
- If a student abandons the course on his own initiative, or is unfit to continue diving due to physical discomfort and is certified by a doctor, the course fee refund method is as follows:
NTD$5,000 non-refundable deposit for online course materials; NTD$6,000 refundable if you have taken a course; NTD$4,000 refundable if you have taken a calm water/pool internship course; NTD$2,000 refundable if you have taken an open water internship course. - If a physical license is required, a fee of NTD$500 per card will be charged for the printing of the physical license card, which will be obtained by the Training Center within two weeks and notified to the trainee for collection.
- The enrollment will be retained for six months after enrollment. Please complete the course within 6 months, if more than 6 months, the course will be canceled.期限未完成，請重新報名繳費。
Three-days course schedule
With two days off per week and one day of vacation, it can be easily completed, of course, you can also choose 4 days and 3 nights of the shift.
Three days course (4 dives) is the standard course, four days is the relaxation course (5~6 dives).
